BEFORE CLEANING:

Clean and Bright will give you an honest all inclusive price for your carpet and upholstery cleaning needs and test fibres / fabrics to establish how best to clean your carpets or upholstery, and explain what the likely results will be. 
An inspection is made to make sure carpets are correctly fitted and that any possible problems such as weak or damaged seams or carpets not on grippers are brought to your attention. 
We will give advice on what you might need to do to prepare your rooms and upholstery for cleaning - like moving ornaments to a safe place etc. 
Any furniture that needs moving we will do on the day to save you any worries and we will place protective pads under furniture so it can go straight back down onto your freshly cleaned carpets. There are several methods used but the main aim is to remove as much of, if not all the accumulated dust, grit, and general soiling as possible. Regular vacuuming is a fundamental part of cleaning, but more specialised cleaning equipment and knowledge are required in order to clean properly. We use a hot water extraction method, often inaccurately referred to as steam cleaning (a steam cleaner would actually damage your carpets or furniture!). 
Our equipment is fully serviced regularly and we feel it cleans and dries better than any other on the market.  We leave the carpet as dry as possible and drying time varies from carpet to carpet (depending on composition, soiling, weather etc.) but we can give you an accurate assessment on the day and combined with our specialist skills are capable of removing spots and stains including:

UPHOLSTERY CLEANING:
People often ask which is best to clean first and it has to be upholstery followed by carpet. This way you do not tread down the pile we have just cleaned on the carpets. With upholstery cleaning we put down protective dust sheets and carry out a pre cleaning inspection to see which cleaning solution is the one to obtain the best results from cleaning the upholstery.  

AFTERCARE:
When we finish we give you a care sheet which tells you what to do after we leave (e.g. to be careful when walking from damp carpet on to a hard floor as it could be slippery and other useful advice). 
Clean & Bright have turbo dryers which we use where necessary to speed up drying times and we also wear protective overshoes to save any soil being bought in from outside, and can provide them for your family to use free of charge.

Reasons why carpet and upholstery should be protected...
Clean carpets and upholstery can be ruined by ugly stains and unprotected furniture or carpet do not repel spillage as well as protected ones and being able to remove spots and  spills more effectively you can avoid permanent staining.
Having protector applied to your carpet or upholstery will enhance your next professional cleaning as more soiling will be removed.
